About Systemic Games

Systemic Games is a very small independent studio, based in Rockville, MD.

Like it is with many Indies, its founder Jean Simonet is a former AAA game developer. In fact Jean has been making video games for over a decade. His most notable works include Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim.

Video games have been a constant presence in his life; some of his earliest memories are of playing Bruce Lee on the Atari 800XL with is brother. Jean has lived on three continents, so far. He was born in France, grew up in Gabon, and has lived in the States for the last 15 years. His absolute favorite game is Dune, although he suspects that it's related to the fact that it was the very first game he played after getting a Sound Blaster.

Jean is passionate about systems and simulation, and hopes to make games that take advantage of those. He is also an avid tinkerer, building robots and electronic kits of all sorts.
